Entrepreneurial Assistance Program Celebrates Achievments
A graduation celebration was recently held for
the OU BOCES
Entrepreneurial
Assistance Program (EAP) to commemorate the successful
completion of a comprehensive twelve-week
course of study for individuals looking to start up
or expand their own small business. The EAP
assists participants in Marketing/Advertising,
Business Planning, Technical Assistance, Financial
Management, Recordkeeping, and provides
mentoring, peer support and networking
opportunities.
One recent graduate stated: “The EAP classes are great; they take you through the process one phase at a time. The instructors are successful business people themselves, and they give you invaluable direction and a structure to follow. I honestly would not have taken on this challenge without my BOCES EAP background.”
