The Advertising Art & Design program will give students a broad base in Illustration, Layout Design and Multimedia Development from both the MAC and PC platform. It is a two-year program that will provide graduates with skills and knowledge needed for a variety of multi-media and graphic design positions in the 21st century. Each quarter students will be introduced to different design software and art techniques that will be applied to developing creative concepts and solving Advertising Design problems.
Students will develop a firm understanding of visual art and design as it relates to the field of Advertising. The program utilizes the most current multimedia technologies and design software. A range of conceptual and hands-on projects will highlight the art skills and computer imaging techniques essential for quality design work. The curriculum is designed to challenge the student’s academic ability and creative potential. During the program, students will develop an art and design portfolio and qualify for entry-level visual art careers, as well as higher-level education at renowned art schools and colleges.
