About the Program:
Computer Assisted Design (CAD) is a two-year program. CAD students
will gain advanced knowledge in the fields of Architecture and Engineering.
This program prepares students for successful entry into post-secondary
engineering programs, architecture programs and employment. Students
will use the latest versions of the following software programs: AutoCAD,
Inventor, Rivet, VIZ and Architectural Desktop to design plans related
to architecture and engineering. Students will also apply theory of
lessons into hands-on projects. The Computer Assisted Design curriculum
is based on Project Lead The Way.
